Active Noise Cancellation™ (ANC) uses the audio system to generate out-of-phase sound waves to reduce engine noise inside the cabin and create a more pleasant driving experience.
The Accord Sedan’s V-6 engine features Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®) technology. This system can activate and deactivate the engine’s cylinders as needed to meet the demands of both power and fuel efficiency. When maximum torque is required, all six cylinders are firing. During steady cruising speeds, VCM® allows the Accord to run on just three cylinders.
The Grade Logic Control system differs from other computer-controlled shift programming because it can detect driving situations and then set appropriate shift points for the car. It helps your Accord avoid gear hunting on climbs and descents, and it downshifts for added engine braking when needed.
Upgrade the suspension, upgrade the performance. The MacPherson strut front suspension utilizes a rebound spring in the shock tube that helps the Accord Sedan stay connected to the road, so you can corner with greater stability and confidence. The MacPherson strut’s compact design also helps reduce road noise and vibration.
The 2015 Honda Accord Sedan comes standard with 16 in. alloy wheels, along with standard all season tires.
The Accord Sedan has a look that’s both sporty and sophisticated. And it begins right up front with the bold yet elegant grill.
Dual-zone automatic climate control offers customizable temperature settings for both driver and front passenger.
Start your Accord Sedan with the push of a button. (EX and above)
The ECON button is standard on every Accord Sedan. When you’re in ECON mode, your Accord configures its systems to use less energy.
The intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) is standard on every Accord—it's command central for all kinds of useful information and features when you're on the road. Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition is available on EX-L models and above.
The outboard rear seats feature the Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) mounting system for use with compatible child seats.
The Accord Sedan is equipped with dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags (SRS). These airbags are capable of being inflated at different rates depending on crash severity, seat-belt usage and/or other factors. Frontal airbags are designed to supplement the seat belts to help reduce the likelihood of head and upper body injuries in frontal crashes.
The latest-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure features our highest-grade steel yet. ACE is a Honda exclusive body design that utilizes a network of connected structural elements to distribute frontal crash energy more evenly throughout the front of the vehicle. This helps reduce the force transferred to the cabin and evenly disperse the forces transferred to other vehicles involved.
All Accord Sedan models feature a rearview camera so you can see more of what’s around you when you’re driving in reverse. EX-L and above models are equipped with a multi-angle rearview camera that offers wide-angle and overhead views as well.
