Hit the ground running with a powerful 280-horsepower[3], direct-injection engine that provides passing power, towing capacity[4] and impressive efficiency[2].
The Ridgeline can really haul. AWD trims feature the ability to tow up to 5,000 pounds[4], a 262 pound-feet of torque[6] and standard integrated tow hitch with 7-pin connector, while Ridgeline 2WD trims can tow up to 3,500 pounds[4].
The Ridgeline now comes with a standard 9-speed automatic transmission that delivers a more refined driving experience, with swift acceleration and smooth cruising.
The available i-VTM4@ AWD system works with available Intelligent Traction Management[7], which includes four unique modes for normal conditions, snow, sand and mud.
The fully independent front and rear suspensions ensure a better handle on the road to make your drive as smooth as possible, even when the road is uneven or bumpy.
Unlike many pickup trucks, which use body-on-frame design, Ridgeline features unibody construction. This creates an extremely rigid structure, that provides a lower floor height, making loading cargo and getting in and out easier, improved isolation from wind noise and vibration and better driving characteristics.
The dual-action tailgate opens down for conventional bed loading or to the side for convenient access to the In-Bed Trunk®. Help keep your valuables protected in the truck bed by pairing the available hard tonneau cover with the lockable tailgate feature, new for the 2020 Ridgeline.
The standard UV-stabilized, scratch-resistant bed helps protect your truck from dings and scrapes, so it can handle even the toughest loads. The lockable, 7.3 cubic foot In-Bed Trunk® includes a drain plug, so you can use it as an ice chest or a place to store wet gear without compromising bed utility.
Bright and distinct available LED low-beam headlights with auto-on/off and Daytime Running Lights can help you see and be seen.
Standard LED taillights help make the Ridgeline easier to see, whether driving at night or stopping in broad daylight.
The Ridgeline features one of the most versatile cabins available, thanks in part to its 60/40 split lift-up rear seats. With a spacious interior that has plenty of room for up to five, the inside is truly accommodating.
Multiple rear-seat configurations create room for a bike, groceries or camping gear. Raising or lowering the rear seats is easy—just pull the release lever and lift the seat cushion.[8]
Sometimes, the best part of going off the beaten path is the view. Get a glimpse or a little fresh air with the available one-touch power moonroof.
The spaciousness inside doesn't end with the seating. You'll also find a roomy center console with enough space for a 10-inch tablet and a USB charging port that can power up your devices.
Every Ridgeline comes with Honda Sensing®, a suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies designed to assist and help protect you and your passengers. Includes Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS).
The available blind spot information system (BSI)[9] with cross traffic monitor uses sensors in the rear bumper to alert you when approaching vehicles are detected in an adjacent lane or whenever you're in Reverse.
Make it easier to back up to a trailer hitch with a standard multi-angle rearview camera[9] that offers three different views: wide, normal and top-down.
[3] Horsepower: 280 hp @ 6000 rpm (SAE net). [4] Honda Ridgeline Towing Capacity: Maximum towing capacity for AWD trims is 5,000 lbs. Maximum towing capacity for 2WD trims is 3,500 lbs. Towing requires accessory towing equipment. Please see your Honda dealer for details. [5] Multi-Angle Rearview Camera: Always visually confirm that it is safe to drive before backing up; the rearview camera display does not provide complete information about all conditions and objects at the rear of your vehicle. [6] Torque: 262 lb-ft @ 4700 rpm (SAE net). [7] Intelligent Traction Management: Snow mode only on 2WD trims. Snow, Mud and Sand modes on AWD trims. [8] Cargo: Honda reminds you to properly secure cargo items and follow all applicable load limits and loading guidelines. [8] Blind Spot Information System (BSI) with Cross Traffic Monitor: The systems are not a substitute for your own visual assessment before changing lanes or backing up, and may not detect all objects, or provide complete information about conditions, behind or to the side of the vehicle. System accuracy will vary based on weather, size of object, and speed. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
